Claire Jenkins Avec Band is currently releasing their album Crow's Nest/ Nid de Pie. Claire received funding from both Canada Council and Ontario Arts Council for the project. She was musical director and co-composer with Tom Howell on the award winning play The Russian Play. Selected acting credits include: Sissy Unity (1918) Theatre Passe Murraille; Anna The Gambler Artword Theatre; Pixie Essay which will be receiving it's first completed production at Factory Theatre in the new-year. In a time where it's easy to feel alienated in the decisions that effect us greatly, it's vital for us to create our own communities. We can build projects that explore our experience outside of the expected. We can share our skills, collaborate and understand our environment more fully. And have fun in the process I reckon.
