Name: Elizabeth Helmers

Elizabeth Helmers is a theatre artist and artist educator. Recent projects include directing Ablaze and performing in HONK, If You Can Hear Me! (NNNN, NOW Magazine) at the Summerworks Festival, as well as directing Escape From Grace at the Toronto Fringe Festival (**** Eye Magazine.) As an artist educator, she teaches at LKTYP and the Paprika Festival, and has worked for the Tarragon, Soulpepper, Theatre Direct, Harbourfront Centre and as an assistant professor in the acting program at Ryerson University. Upcoming projects include a remount of HONK, If You Can Hear Me! at the Bread & Circus in May. Elizabeth holds a BFA in acting from Ryerson Universit.
